After watching about half of the movie, Thank You for Smoking, incorporates many strong persuasive arguments. Nick is a chief spokesman for big tobacco companies and defends smokers and the manufacturers. Overall the movie is satirical and is a comedy based movie. The film follows Nick throughout his many situations in which he can easily turn any argument around in favor of himself and tobacco. This keeps the movie flowing and comical. As the movie goes on, it seems as if Nick begins to realize the effects his job may have on his son and his relationship with his son. In conclusion, Thank You for Smoking, is a brilliant piece of satirical work in which the protagonist can easily turn any argument in his favor.
